My talk

I had a talk on mother’s day for church. I thought I should put it on here.

“My talk is on wonderful mothers are, I’d like to start with a poem.

God made wonderful mothers

Mothers that never grow old

He made their smiles out of sunshine

And molded their heart of pure gold

In their eyes he placed bright shining stars

In their cheeks fair roses you see

God made wonderful mothers

And he gave those dear mothers to we

In this poem it talks how God made our mothers. He sent them to all of us. What can be more wonderful than what God sends us?

Now, we all say thanks to our mothers, but what about grandmas? Here’s a poem to help us remember to say thanks to them.

While we honor all our mothers

With words of love and praise

While we tell about their goodness

And kind loving ways

We should also think of our grandmas

Their mothers too, you see

For they mothered our mothers

As our mothers mother we

I was looking through the Children’s Song Book. My favorite mother’s day song I found was “Mother I Love You”. I’d like to read to you the first verse.

Mother, I love you; mother I do.

Father in Heaven has sent me to you.

When I am near you, I love to hear you

Singing so softly that you love me too.

In this son it says that we love our mothers. I know we all do.

Lastly Mothers help us in many ways. One day I was really sick my mother was there to take care of me in any way she could. We need to remember that they raised us, cooked for us, and taught us, and they still do.

I bear my testimony that mothers love us. They are very awesome and cool. We all need to remember that. I say these things, in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.”
